Peter Salter chairman of Dowty Judo Club and the Gloucestershire County Chairman was presented with his 6th Dan at a special evening where Don Quinn travelled down from Liverpool to make the presentation to Pete of his belt.
All the club along with many ex players and their families attended the evening to celebrate with him.

Peter Salter of Dowty Judo Club and the Gloucestershire County Chairman was recently awarded his 6th Dan.

Newent Judo Club held their awards evening after the Junior session on Friday. The children who had taken part in sessions during 2018 all received a certificate, while some club members received trophies as follows:

The Bradley Stoke Judo Club provided the venue for the Craig Curtis Randori day, which was organised by the Bradley Stoke Club in memory of Craig who so sadly passed away recently.
Although Craig was a member and Head Coach of the Swindon Judo Club, both Clubs had strong ties with each other, with Craig being a regular attendee at the Saturday morning Randori sessions at the Bradley Stoke Club.
The affection in which Craig was held, was evidenced by the number of Judoka, young and old, who came from many of the West area Club's and beyond.
Craig will be sadly missed.
